Innocoll Dental, a selection of resorbable collagen wound dressings and hemostatic devices for use during oral and maxillofacial surgeries.

 

Description

Comprising of 100% of purified type 1 collagen, the dental products were developed using Innocoll's proprietary technologies. The individual product formats take the shape of the wound bed when applied to exudating wounds and the hemostatic properties of collagen fiber controls bleeding and helps accelerate the healing process.

 

  • Dental Sponge – a conformable, resorbable collagen sponge used for the management of oral wounds and sores, oral ulcers (non-infected or viral) and periodontal surgical wounds during oral surgery. With superior handling properties, it also aids in achieving complete hemostasis within the treated area.
 
  • Dental Film – a thin, robust and resorbable collagen membrane, with high tensile strength, and conformability used for the management of oral wounds including periodontal and other dental surgical wounds. The hemostatic properties of the collagen fiber controls bleeding, accelerating the healing process.
 
  • Dental Tape – a pliable and resorbable collagen sponge used in the management of minor oral wounds and sores. Due to the hemostatic properties of collagen fiber the product also controls the bleeding and accelerates the healing process.
 
  • Dental Cone – a resorbable collagen wound dressing used for local haemostasis of capillary, parenchymatous and seeping haemorrhages during dental surgeries. Its cylindrical shape is highly adaptable, plugs the extraction site and controls bleeding. It is rapidly and completely absorbed by the body, while the collagen promotes granulation and epithelialization.
